Adam Harvey
A graduate of Youngstown State's Computer Information Systems program, Harvey was involved in developing the state of Ohio's first ISP and was a part of constructing and uploading some of the Internet's very first websites. He grew to serve as IT Director for the corporate world and then, in 1999, brought his technical expertise to GLAD WORKS.
“The IT world is so exciting with new developments all the time. I really wanted the chance to work with companies who were open to implementing new technologies.”
With his background in systems architecture, database development, programming, e-commerce, search engine optimization and all things technical, Harvey keeps this full-service ad agency at the forefront of the e-Industrial Revolution. With his tireless dedication to the latest techniques and equipment, Harvey offers clients cutting-edge innovation, cost-effective solutions and good, straight-talking know-how.
“It’s great to be able to work directly with clients to figure out what they want to accomplish, then help them figure out how to get there. We get to help clients grow their businesses, and the best part is we get to have so much fun doing it.”
Harvey’s dedication often extends to the benefit of local nonprofit organizations like the Arts & Business Council of RI. In addition, Harvey also serves on the board of directors of the RI Foster Parents Association and GroundWork Providence, and he is the Director of Technology for the Southeastern New England Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
